I totally forgot about this event being that it is around the corner, and with all the stuff going on…I almost missed it. So, this is yet another Charity event (I know!!) But, what can I say. This event combines my favorite things philanthropy, animals, golf (yes I try), and boys!! Ok, Ok, so anyway…for all of you golfers with pets, or golfers without pets as I know you guys use any excuse to golf, this event is sponsored by the Michigan Humane Society and is listed below. Man, I wish I was in town for this!!

Join us at the 2nd annual Michigan Humane Society Putts Fore Paws
The event will be held on Monday, June 8 at the exclusive Forest Lake Country Club in Bloomfield Hills which features a mature 18-hole championship golf course, incredible scenery and first class amenities.
Along with changing the lives of animals in need, participants at the Michigan Humane Society’s (MHS) Putts Fore Paws golf outing on Monday, June 8 will have the opportunity to hit the links with a professional athlete: Detroit Lions linebacker – and animal lover – Ernie Sims. In addition, by participating in an online auction hosted by MHS, one lucky foursome will win the opportunity to count the star athlete as a member of their team. Putts Fore Paws will be held at the exclusive Forest Lake Country Club in Bloomfield Hills. Event and auction proceeds will benefit the more than 100,000 animals MHS cares for each year.
Putts Fore Paws will begin at 8 a.m. with registration and a breakfast reception; driving range and putting green access will also be available. A shotgun start will take place at 9:30 a.m., and a luncheon, auction and awards ceremony will follow at 3 p.m.
Foursomes can enjoy the 18-hole championship golf course, while supporting the work of MHS, for $1,200; the package includes full breakfast, driving range and putting green access prior to start, 18 holes of golf with cart, luncheon reception and golfer gift. Twosome packages for $600 and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
